Did you know that each time you use the internet or delete a file from your computer that you leave a trace that can still be found? These files do not completely disappear, like most people believe they do. They still remain on your computer and can be found and viewed.

These traceable footprints will take up space on your hard drive that in return could have negative effects on your system. By leaving these footprints on your computer it could in fact cause it to slow down or take longer when booting up and of course everyone favorite “The Crashing”. Locating these files can be difficult because they are hidden files that you do not realize are there or have no idea were to search with out knowing where to look. Being able to locate these files may be easier with a computer wizard.

Less expensive software’s are available that detects and removes them permanently. As a precautionary step it is always safe to get these traces of your working in computer like the history, removed files and emails removed else any other person sleuthing behind you can cause problems to you in future. Loss of privacy due to these hidden files has raised legal concerns. These recovered data can be used against you before a court of law while you will be very much sure and satisfied that these data are destroyed for ever and that nobody can find it now.

Apart from the personal aspect of privacy, there are very real legal concerns. These files can be incriminating, even if they’re not necessarily illegal, and during divorce or a lawsuit one does not want the opposition to have extra ammunition in their case. Popular especially during divorce proceedings, emails and files can be twisted and misconstrued, making an otherwise innocent person look like a wrongdoer. Just a word of caution: if you do not want your files found, make sure they’re hidden or deleted permanently.

These traces are kept in the windows registry and the trick is to remove them from there. But unless you know to do it properly, you are never advised to do it on your own else you might end up in disaster by removing some other important files like the operating system files or other important files which will lead to an odd situation of explaining the reason for mistake. Therefore it is rightly said that this is an expert’s work.

Your hidden footprints can be found where they are hiding on your system easier with a privacy controller. There are a lot of systems out there that do not really work with your system, beware of what you purchase, read the instructions, system requirements and anything else that will prepare you before you purchase. A lot of other systems will try to use scare tactics to get you to purchase their software to track and remove these hidden footprints. Many of these fakers will try to get you to enter a credit card number on line for their download.
